Leyona Technologies SARL AU

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Qatra app and this website. They are the agreement between you and Leyona Technologies SARL AU. Please read section 02 in particular — it describes what the reflections in this app are and are not.

Last updated 18 August 2026

01The agreement

By downloading, opening or using Qatra, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. If you are using it on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are allowed to accept on their behalf.

The app is published by Leyona Technologies SARL AU, Société à responsabilité limitée à associé unique, share capital 100 000 MAD, registered office Rue Dakar, Imm. n°5, Appt. n°1, Océan, Rabat, Morocco ("we", "us").

02What Qatra is, and what it is not

Every reflection in Qatra is original writing produced for this app. None of it is the Qur’an. None of it is hadith. None of it is a quotation from a scholar, and none of it is attributed to one.

The reflections are written in an Islamic register and reviewed before they are published, but they are the words of this app and nothing more. They are not a fatwa, not a religious ruling, and not scholarly guidance. Nothing in the app should be relied on to decide a question of Islamic law or practice. For that, consult the Qur’an and the Sunnah through the sources that carry them properly, and a qualified scholar.

Qatra is also not a medical or psychological service. It does not diagnose, treat or provide therapy. If you are in distress or in danger, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

03Your account

You can use Qatra without registering. If you create an account, you agree to give a real email address, to keep your password to yourself, and to tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Qatra, or older where your country sets a higher age for agreeing to online services without a parent.

04How you may use it

Qatra is licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape or redistribute the reflection library, in whole or in substantial part, including to train a machine-learning model;
  • republish reflections as though they were scripture, hadith, or the words of a named scholar;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our source code, except to the extent the law says you may;
  • use the app to break the law, to harass anyone, or to attack our service or the people using it;
  • circumvent the limits of the free tier or interfere with billing.

Sharing a single reflection with a friend, or posting one as an image from the app's own share button, is fine and always will be. That is what the button is for.

05Reflections you write yourself

Premium lets you write your own reflections inside the app. Those stay yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us only the narrow licence we need to run the service: to store your text, sync it to your other devices, and show it back to you. We do not publish it, do not show it to other users, and do not use it to train anything. Delete a reflection and that licence ends with it.

06What belongs to us

The Qatra name, the drop mark, the app's design, its interface, its written reflections and their Arabic and French renderings are owned by Leyona Technologies SARL AU or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.

Backdrop photography and video used for the themes is licensed from its rights holders for use inside the app. You do not receive any right to extract or reuse it.

07Subscriptions and payment

Qatra is free to use. Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial. It is sold and billed by Apple or by Google, not by us — we never see your card details.

The full billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Subscription Terms, which form part of this agreement.

08Availability and changes

We add, change and remove features as the app develops, and we add reflections to the library over time. We may also stop offering the app in a country, or discontinue it entirely. If we discontinue a paid feature you are actively paying for, we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused part of your current period.

We do not promise uninterrupted service. Notifications depend on Apple and Google's delivery networks and on your device's own settings, and we cannot guarantee that any individual reminder arrives.

09Ending it

You can stop using Qatra at any time by deleting the app, and you can delete your account and its data at any time — see Delete your account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to attack the service, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.

10Disclaimers and liability

Qatra is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data that we could not reasonably have foreseen. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 50.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer protection law. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your national law gives you, and these terms do not take any of them away.

11If you got the app from Apple

This agreement is between you and Leyona Technologies SARL AU only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Qatra or its content.

  • Apple has no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for the app; that is ours, at support@getqatra.com.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. Beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim that the app or your use of it infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
  • You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Morocco, and the courts of Rabat have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.

13Changes to these terms

We update these terms when the app changes. The date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Qatra after that date means you accept the new terms.

Questions about any of this go to support@getqatra.com.
